Welcome to our first blog, year four!
I thought I would start off our blogging journey by introducing you to our Garden Buddy and demonstrating what needs to be done when you take him home.
I have followed the information sheet and 'Garden Buddy tasks and checklists' to help me write my blog.
Plants I showed our Garden Buddy:
gardenias, Yucca tree, Rose bushes, Grevillea shrubs, Gum trees, Tomatoe plant, Chilli plant, Blackberries.
How we care for plants in our garden:
We water the plants when it doesn't rain, fertilize the flowers with horse manure and weed the flower beds.
Jobs that need doing in our garden:
- Pick up horse manure from the paddock to keep the horse healthy.
- Mow the lawns.
- Whipper snip.
- Slash the horses paddock.
Activities we can do in our garden:
- Pick fruit from the trees
- watch the birds that come to visit
- Share my garden with friends
- Play with the dog in the yard
